Private Booking Terms of Hire
This document outlines the terms and conditions for private hire of Another Heart to Feed & Nightcap located at 10 Hilton Street, Manchester, M1 1JF, herein referred to as “the Venue”. By confirming a booking, the Hirer agrees to comply with the following terms:
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of 10% of the minimum spend
Full payment must be received within the timeframe set out in the invoice (14 days from the date the invoice is created unless agreed otherwise).
2. Venue Hire Fees
The total cost of hire is based on a minimum spend, which will be agreed before the booking is confirmed.
Security, staffing, use of the sound system and exclusive use of the venue are covered within the minimum spend.
Any additional services requested (e.g., DJ hire, catering) will incur extra charges and must be agreed upon in advance.
3. Duration of Hire
The hire period is agreed in advance between the Venue and the Hirer.
Additional hours may be available at the discretion of the management of the Venue.
4. Capacity & Access
The maximum capacity of the Venue is 85 guests. Exceeding this may result in termination of the event without refund.
Access for set-up and breakdown must be arranged in advance.
5. Food & Drink
Only beverages supplied by the Venue may be consumed on the premises unless agreed in writing. Corkage fees may apply.
External catering can be brought in subject to the agreement of the Venue beforehand.
6. Conduct & Damage
The Hirer is responsible for ensuring the orderly conduct of guests.
Any damage to the Venue, fixtures, or equipment caused by guests will be charged to the Hirer.
The Venue reserves the right to remove or refuse entry to anyone deemed intoxicated or disruptive.
7. Licensing & Legal Compliance
The Venue is licensed to sell alcohol and provide entertainment under local laws.
All events must comply with licensing laws, including end times, noise levels, and age restrictions.
The Hirer is responsible for ensuring no illegal activities take place during the event.
8. Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 1 week in advance will receive a refund of the deposit to the payment method used.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event will forfeit the full deposit.
In the unlikely event the Venue must cancel, a full refund will be provided.
9. Force Majeure
The Venue is not liable for failure to fulfill its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, power failures).
10. Insurance & Liability
The Hirer is encouraged to obtain event insurance.
The Venue accepts no liability for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings brought onto the premises.
11. Photography & Promotion
The Venue may take photos or video during the event for promotional use. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing before the event.
